Alexandra Lance is a dance artist & fitness professional currently residing in NYC. She is a certified Pilates Mat I & II instructor and Jazzercise franchisee. Originally from Houston, TX, she has a BFA in Dance & BS in Marketing from Florida State University. As one of the founders of HomeBod, Alex strives to inspire others through fitness and find the joy of moving their body!


Anna Segal is a Florida girl living abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. A lover of all things movement, Anna began teaching in 2012 becoming a registered yoga teacher and offering classes while completing her BS in Exercise Physiology. She has since expanded her practice and teaching to include Barre, HIIT, and Active Flexibility Training. Keeping a student's perspective in mind, Anna combines her extensive knowledge of movement mechanics with a talent for communication to lead classes that are smart, creative, and fun. Participants can expect to finish class feeling accomplished and restored.


Claire Kagan is an NYC-based 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) specializing in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin styles. She is the founder of Freely Give Yoga and believes that yoga should be inclusive and accessible for all. Claire is also an LMSW with a Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University. Claire is fascinated by the intersection between mental health and yoga, and is passionate about catalyzing community, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing through yoga practice. Liz (she/her/ella) is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor currently living in Tallahassee, Florida. She has three degrees from Florida State University, including her MA in Dance. Liz found her love of fitness through Barre in 2015 and has continued with it ever since! Both her fitness and dance (virtual) classrooms are safe places for people to be themselves. Go Kato is a dancer and Zumba instructor currently living in New York and originally from Japan. He has done many dance performances and worked as a backup dancer for many artists. He has been a Zumba Instructor for four years and uses many types of music accompanied by original choreography for the songs. His number one goal is turning the studio into a stage with each person in the class as part of the cast of the show. Let's sweat and have fun!


Julie Opiel ( is a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher currently residing in Los Angeles. She currently serves as company manager, rehearsal director, and dancer for Ballet Ashani. Julie holds an MFA in Performance and Choreography from Florida State University and a BFA in Dance from Webster University. She is so excited to move with you in her ballet classes for HomeBod! Whether you are new to ballet or a regular at the barre, Julie's class will get you warmed up and ready for the rest of your day!


Ross Daniel is a Georgia born artist and Balanced Body certified Pilates instructor based in New York City. Ross has a M.F.A. in dance performance and choreography from Florida State University and a B.A. in theatre performance and directing from Georgia College & State University. He has been teaching Pilates in NYC since 2017 at Pilates Reforming New York and Equinox. Ross teaches Pilates through a dancers perspective focusing on continuous movement, spinal mobility, core strengthening, and flow. Ross always says, “If you stop moving, you stop moving.” Come be your “tallest self” with Ross as he guides your through a fun and challenging Pilates flow.

Sarah R

Sarah Rose is an NYC-based artist. She earned her MFA from FSU (choreography and performance) and BA from Princeton (classics). She is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor, Balanced Body certified Pilates mat instructor, and a Guild certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner. Sarah reflects on her experience as a founder and instructor for HomeBod, “It has been such a complete joy having the chance to (re)connect and move with people from all over the country!
