Power Core is a blend of strength training and Pilates Mat with props. The perfect total body tone up class! We start in standing with innovative upper/lower body strength combo sets to target the major muscle groups and then transition down to the mat to focus on core strength and stability. This hour long workout is paired with a rockin' playlist. As always, form will be key as we tune in to our bodies and tone up together!
- 2/3 lb hand weights - could be replaced with two equally sized soup cans, full water bottles or nothing (you'll still feel the burn)
- 5 - 15lb hand weights - you determine your weight based on your comfort level and what you have on hand. You can always do the full class with the 2/3lb set! Substitutes for larger weights include: full laundry detergent, wine bottles, gallon water jugs
-Pilates Ball - could be replaced by a yoga block, foam roller, or a pillow.
-loop band - could be replaced by a theraband tied to form a loop (no worries if you don't have either! you'll still feel the burn!)
